Course overview

Diploma in Yoga Therapy (DYT) is a one-year programme that may be taken to improve one's skills as a yoga instructor. The DYT programme is designed to prepare students to become well-rounded, competent, professional, and exceptionally skilled yoga instructors.

Candidates must have a minimum aggregate score of 45% in intermediate (12th standard) from a recognized board with relevant subjects to be eligible for the DYT. There are no entry exams for this course, however candidates should be prepared for a personal interview or group discussion for final selection.

The "Pracheen" benefits

As aforementioned, the course (DYT) lasts 12 months, and students will learn according to the syllabus, with practical sessions completing in around 4 months and students learning other subjects for the following 8 months via online classes. The sole distinction is that online students will only attend practical classes and other subject classes via online medium, whilst studio students will take practical classes at the Pracheen Yoga Institute in Lucknow. The diploma exams will be announced during the sessions. Diplomas will be provided to the students within three months following the result.

However, with Pracheen Yoga as the host, the online students are receiving a heavy discount on their fee along with 5 months (4 + 1) of practical classes at no extra cost, as well as a certificate from Pracheen Yoga as a reward for participating in 1 month of extra practical classes, which will help them get recognized for their hours of hard work and practice.
